Chaired by Daniel Dalton, Chief Executive, The British Chamber of Commerce EU & Belgium, the discussion will explore how ongoing developments in education have and will continue to impact the individual learner, teachers, the learning environment, and educational policy. Special attention will be given to advancements in digital education; how students and teachers alike can feel supported as the learning environment continues to change; which skills, qualities and knowledge are becoming most important to students’ success in the classroom, workplace and world at large; and to the role that businesses can play in preparing students for their futures.

Closing comments will be given by Astrid Ruts, Change and Communications Lead at Cargill, and Hannah Van Deun, RA Specialist Benelux at Edwards Lifesciences, on behalf of The Young Professionals Committee at AmCham Belgium. After the main webinar event, the audience is welcome to join our Year 12 & 13 students for breakaway discussions with each panellist.
The event is organised in the framework of our BSB Futures programming that supports young people as they explore their personal strengths and aspirations, offering opportunities to engage with professionals from all backgrounds and sectors. Targeted at BSB and local students, teachers, the business community and parents, the panel will encourage the audience to consider their role in the dynamic arena of education.
