At BSB, we aim to create a positive, inclusive environment for our students. This begins with taking the same approach to our staff. Our school is an exciting and challenging place to be, and we welcome applications from passionate, driven people who would like to join our community and help us to achieve our goals. BSB is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We respect and seek to empower each individual and support the diverse culture, perspectives, skills and experiences within our community.
Open vacancies are posted on this page. If there are no open or relevant vacancies below, you have the option to submit an unsolicited or supply application.
Most positions are filled through the advertisement and application process outlined on the ‘Job opportunities’ page. However, sometimes people wish to register their interest in the school, for our future reference. When BSB receives an unsolicited application, it will be stored in our candidate database. You will receive an email from us when there is a vacancy which we think matches your qualifications.
The school welcomes interest from qualified and experienced teachers to provide cover for staff absences. The working day for a Supply Teacher is typically 08.55 to 15.55, although we sometimes need supply teachers for part of a day only. All supply staff are interviewed and registered through the Accent temp agency before they commence teaching with us. Applicants must have the right to live and work in Belgium.
At BSB volunteers are a welcome resource, complementing the work of teachers and support staff. Our volunteers are parents, alumni, students on work experience, local residents and other friends of the school.
Our Human Resources team is happy to answer any questions you may have about working at The British School of Brussels or about the job application process. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
